A Dutch kornet is a long fishing net that trawls along the bottom of the sea on the coast. It is a heavy job, but many hands make light work.  Shrimp fishermen, seldom pleased with the other species that turn up, often use such nets. But we are please with everything! The contents of the net gives an impression of the abundant life on the Dutch coast, and the influence of the weather on the beach, the coastline and thus the life that inhabits these areas.
