A large part of the woodland on Kennemer Duin campsite Bakkum is reserved for season camping. This means there are over 1400 season pitches.
Season camping is a pure luxury; who would object to being able to spend 7 months in unspoilt natural surroundings?
A season at Kennemer Duin campsite Bakkum means you can stay at the campsite at any time from the end of March until the autumn half-term holidays. The season of 2013 starts on the 28th of March till the 27th of October.
'Hip and nostalgic' describes the campsite very well. Some of our guests have been enjoying the seasons at Bakkum for most of their lives, others have only recently discovered them. But all enjoy the same: nature, the beach and the wonderful atmosphere.
Different pitches
We offer 3 different season pitches. Pitches without electricity, with electricity (4 amp) and pitches with both electricity (4 amp) and car parking.
Away from the pitches where car parking is allowed, traffic is severely restricted, so children can play here without the danger of moving cars. The available pitches differ in size are named accordingly; the Dwergstern (< 80 m2), the Zilvermeeuw (80-120 m2) and the Albatros (> 120 m2).
Regulations
There are regulations at Kennemer Duincamping Bakkum all season campers need to adhere to. They ensure a safe, orderly and peaceful environment. On the other hand, much is permitted too! Whether you have a tent, a trailer tent, camping tent, touring or stationary caravan, all are welcome. As long as there is only one tent or caravan etc., which is no longer than 9.15 and with a surface area of maximally 35 m2.
Pets are not allowed, but there are plenty of other animals to enjoy. You will certainly meet foxes, squirrels, many different birds and rabbits. Barbecuing is permitted provided you use gas, as other fuels are prohibited in the sand dune area.
